Well Joanne and I decided Jake wasn't going to work out so we didn't adopt. Just too much work that will mostly fall on me, and driving home from work every day for lunch so the big guy could have a pee just seemed like too much.But I did find out that he has been adopted by a family with a big yard and a stay-at-home mom, so that will be much better for him.
We can step out our door and not far from our place can see bald eagles, great blue herons, hawks, salmon and even an emu and some neighbourhood bunnies.
These animals will have to be good enough for now.
